Emergency Aid Project, 2020/2021

The COVID-19 crisis has hit Nigerians hard. From one day to the next, many people lost their jobs. This had a major impact on the entire country, with families and crime on the rise.
With the help of Olajumoke, Noemi started an emergency aid project with the aim of distributing food parcels to all 250 families at the school every week. Noemi raised money via the crowdfunding website www.gofundme.com/f/covid19-notpakete-fur-nigeria. The first food parcels were distributed in October 2020. Olajumoke assembled the parcels on site and distributed them every Wednesday. From then on, over 5,500 food parcels were distributed in 22 weeks. The emergency aid project was a complete success.
