Education
This project is currently running

In Nigeria, not all children have the opportunity to attend school. The reason being the lack of financial resources. The situation has worsened with the corona pandemic. Unemployment has risen and wages have stagnated, while food prices have doubled to tripled. Now half the population lives below the poverty line and more and more families are struggling to survive. Instead of going to school, many children have to work to support their families financially.
Every child has the right to education, which must be protected. Education is considered the key to a better future. Since the Nigerian state only supports the population to a limited extent, this project aims to give more children access to educational institutions.
Noemi Lerch has already been on site several times and worked in a Nigerian school. There she noticed the need for change and directly experienced the positive effects that targeted support can have.
